Atlas is a large supercomputer dedicated mostly to Gravitational Wave research. It currently consists of 1344 compute nodes, totaling 5376 compute cores, 10 TB or main memory as well as 600 TB of local disk space. Along these we run 32 Areca based file servers adding more than 300 TB of storage space as well as 13 Sun Fire X4500 which can also store about 300 TB of data.
In December 2008 336 extra nodes were added but not benchmarked again.
