30th TOP500 List to be released in Reno during SC07

The next TOP500 list will be released Nov. 13th 2007 during the Supercomputing Conference (SC07) in Reno, Nevada.

Each year the first TOP500 list is released in June at the International Supercomputer Conference, in Dresden, Germany. The deadline for submitting entries is April 15th. The second TOP500 list is released in November in time for the SC conference. The deadline for submitting entries is October 15th.

The List's maintainers are interested in new entries as well as entries that are no longer valid. Please feel free to contact them here if you have questions.

The traditional BoF session will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13. See below for details.

The BoF will present detailed analyses of the TOP500 and discuss the changes in the HPC marketplace during the past years. This includes the presentation of a new metric to track power consumption and updates on various benchmark initiatives. The BoF is meant as an open forum for discussion and feedback between the TOP500 authors and the user community.
